nothing without pain

by Luminita Suse

how the old winter overflows my veins
blood seems to fly away from me
and what it touches turns into
shortage of time

love, fill my eyes up with honey again
sew it tight with spruce needles
let your lips dream
a poem in me

recount by heart the shrills of my mind
free the salt glyphs engraved in heart
hemorrhagic birds gliding
towards earth
