smiling with no apparent reason

by Luminita Suse

something about the rain
unable to hold the feverish
shivering together

or maybe how it breaks
its liquid bones
across the windshield

how the steam builds up
on the cold glass
mist auras condensing

into colliding silhouettes
while the storm slams
nimbus into nimbus

how there is a sweet new
meaning to germs, safety
and forgetting about all

the clapping rage out there
being simply happy
to spend the rain together
